The Arabic text is taken from established digital editions and checked against its source before publishing. Despite this care, digital text can occasionally contain errors. For formal study, memorisation or teaching, we recommend checking against a printed mushaf approved in your country. If you find an error, please tell us.

Translations

A translation conveys the meaning of the Quran as understood by its translator. It is not the Quran itself, and no translation can fully capture the original Arabic. The Urdu and English translations are the work of their named translators and are published as in their sources. The only change: the salawat after the Prophet’s name is written in full as صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم.

Explanatory notes are not fatwas

Our notes summarise the Quran and authentic hadith with references, for general education. They are not religious rulings. For personal questions of fiqh, please consult a qualified scholar you trust.

No guaranteed worldly results

Reading the Quran is an act of worship and is rewarded by Allah. We do not claim or guarantee that reading any part of it, any number of times, will bring a specific worldly result such as wealth, a job, marriage or recovery from illness.
